Antique Swiss Carriage Clock Gold Gilt Brass with Round Enamel Face
Lovely quality gold-gilt brass Swiss carriage clock.
All glass panels are in good condition, apart from a small flake chip on the inside of one side panel and a small chip on the other side, barely visible. The clock is in quite clean condition, with slight wear on the gold gilt.
There is a small hairline crack on the face, visible under a magnifying glass, and a small bubble on the front glass.
It is working perfectly fine, though it may be running fast by 2–3 minutes per 24 hours and may need a slight adjustment.
The escape movement is jewelled and marked "Made in Switzerland" underneath.
Underneath is the maker's or reseller's mark in the form of a cypher monogram "AVB".
